AOP7Our mission is to create a child-centered, family friendly environment where young children can play, learn, and party! As parents with young children ourselves we understand how difficult it is to find a place where your child can run freely and play while engaging with age appropriate toys that will help them in their development. This is the opportunity for your child to do just that while giving mom and dad the option to play along with their child or watch them engage while giving you time to socialize or get some work done in a relaxed, safe, and comfortable atmosphere! We love children and the opportunity that this will give them and their families in our community! Check us out, we would love to see your child bring our space to life!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is The Art of Play?

The Art of Play is a children’s enrichment center, created with the concept that families would have a place to bring their children to enjoy playing, learning, and partying at an age appropriate level while parents have a place to observe, drink coffee, read a good book, hang out with mommy groups, or jump in on the fun!

Can my child wear shoes in The Art of Play?

Adults and children will all be asked to remove their shoes upon entrance into The Art of Play area. We require everyone to wear socks. If you do not have socks we do sell them for both children and adults at $1 a pair.

Can I drop my child off to play?

No, The Art of Play is not a drop in child care facility. It is a place for families to come and play together. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

How old does my child have to be to play in your facility?

Our age range is 0-5. While we love children of all ages, we want to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate space for children in early childhood.

Can I bring in outside food or drink when I bring my child to play?

We have many breakfast/snack/lunch options for kiddos. Feel free to bring snacks if your child is picky or has an allergy. We also have menus for local restaurants that will deliver to The Art of Play. One thing we do ask is that you do not bring coffee in as we have a full coffee bar here. Thank you!

Is the facility still open to the public if you schedule a party?

Yes. We will offer parties throughout the day as well as private parties in the evenings or on Sundays. Please speak to a party representative in advance about your wishes and we will do our best to accommodate. Additional fees do apply for private parties. See our Party page for details.

How often are the toys cleaned?

We understand that kiddos in this stage of development are eager to put things in their mouths! We follow a continuous cleaning schedule, disinfecting and cleaning each toy and play space throughout the week. We also provide multiple bins for toys to be placed for employees to immediately wash after the youngster is done playing with it, if the child is sick or has been playing with it in his or her mouth.

Is it safe for my child to play or climb on the equipment?

Every parent will be asked to sign a waiver before their child is allowed to enter The Art of Play. It is the parent’s responsibility to keep the child safe while in the facility. However, we have done our best to make sure that all equipment is an appropriate height and material for the children in this age group to enjoy.

What ages do you charge for?

We charge from 6 months – 5 years old.
